About Us
Tosie Family Dental Background
Dr. Richard Tosie has been practicing dentistry in Arnold for 35 years. Brothers, Dr. Richard Tosie and Dr. John Tosi, started this practice in 1985. John Tosi moved to Memphis to practice for a period of time but moved back to practice alongside family in this great community.

The doctor brothers have spent much of their lives side-by-side so working in the practice together is only natural for them. They grew up in St. Louis and attended Lindbergh High School. They went to college at Westminster College in Fulton, MO. They both also completed their dental training at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Kyle Tosie, Dr. Richard's son, joined the practice just as Dr. Richard Tosie transitioned into retirement. Dr. Kyle also attended Lindbergh High School before going on to Auburn University to study business. He later went back to school at Fontbonne University in St. Louis for a degree in Biology before attending the University of Utah School of Dentistry. This family of dentists is incredibly grateful for the community in Arnold and enjoys serving their patients here!

You may be asking about the slightly different spelling of their last names since one of the doctors spells his with an “e” and the others, without. When they began practicing together 35 years ago, it seemed the insurance companies couldn’t keep their paperwork straight for each of the doctors, so John dropped the “e” to help avoid confusion. The Tosie family wants to make your visit to their office as easy as possible so reverting one of their names back to their original Italian roots was a simple solution. When John and Richard's family came to the United States years ago, they added an "e" to the end of their name to take on a new legacy in America. Now, their family legacy is dentistry in both forms of spelling.

When you visit Tosie Dental, we vow to treat you just like family. We aim to provide a holistic wellness approach beginning with oral health.

Following, he started the practice alongside his brother, Dr. Richard Tosie, 35 years ago before moving to Memphis. John returned to St. Louis full time with his family in 2017. Dr. Kyle Tosie
Dr. William Kyle Tosie, son of Dr. Richard Tosie, loves practicing dentistry with his family. Kyle studied international business, finance, and German during his undergraduate education at Auburn University but later decided to return to school to become a dentist! In 2016, Kyle moved to Park City to attend the University of Utah School of Dentistry. After going through board exams during Covid-19 and a virtual final few months of school, Kyle can handle anything that comes his way in dentistry. Kyle has led the charge with the recent renovations at Tosie Dental in hopes of preserving the practice his family started.

Kyle has been around the practice his entire life. He has a “dimple” on his face from running into the office wall as a kid, the same walls he will now come to work within every day. He took out his own tooth at the age of 8 because he knew he could with the example of his dad and John. Kyle is eager to follow in his family's footsteps at Tosie Dental. Kyle is happy to be back in his hometown with his wife, Katie, and their son, Quincy. While you are in Kyle’s dental chair, he would love to talk to you about your recent travels, all things sports, and crime podcasts.
